PIVO PUBLIC HOUSE OPENING IN CROSSTOWN:
ECLECTIC MEETS MAINSTREAM AT A COOL PLACE TO GRAB A DRINK
PIVO Public House will make it’s debut into the Crosstown neighborhood, best known for attracting a diverse range of people, making it one of downtown Vancouver’s most exciting new districts. PIVO, located at 526 Abbott Street, is an intimate 57-seat public house, where hipsters, financiers and neighborhood residents alike can revel in the den-like room and enjoy modern takes on traditional pub fare and drinks.
The modern PIVO Public House in Crosstown can offer a little bit of everything. Geographically positioned with glitzy Yaletown to the west, historic Gastown to the east and Vancouver’s business district to the north, PIVO in Crosstown is the spot for non-pretentious socials to mix. Being in close proximity to GM Place, BC Place, Tinseltown, and many of Vancouver’s nightclubs, PIVO is set to integrate seamlessly into your social itinerary.
Designer Sarah Patterson has created the ideal space for intimate social gatherings, pre-game drinks or impromptu after work get-togethers. The golden caramel colorings of the room inspired from honey lagers and cream ales Vancouver’s craft breweries are known for, give casual and connoisseur beer drinkers the backdrop to truly enjoy a true beer culture.
With PIVO’s seasonal ‘fresh sheets’, service staff is prepared to give a different experience with each visit, pairing seasonal beverages with food pairings for your enjoyment and while you sit and chat with friends, PIVO servers offer complimentary bar snacks with your beverage. If you’re feeling hungry, the bunch, lunch and dinner menus offer a variety of affordable comfort food favorites like a variety of gourmet poutine or aged-cheddar perogies at excellent prices in the $6-14 range.
